Presented is a lovely pearl and blue spinel ring done in 18 karat gold. This piece dates to around the 1950s-1970s. The center stone of the ring is a large oval cut blue spinel, with great clarity and faceting, measuring about 12.1 by 11.2 millimeters. This is a man-made spinel. On either side of the center stone is a pearl of about 7.7 millimeters, with great lustre. The shank leading up to the pearl on each side is done in a stylized flower shape, like a lily or tulip.
This piece is in great condition. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The band is stamped and guaranteed 18k and has a maker's mark of 'SGS'.
The ring is a size 9 .
