Stunning 14k Yellow Gold Turquoise Cabochon Dangle Tassel Jingle Bracelet
Regular price
$4,472.00
Presented is a stunning vintage 14 karat yellow gold and turquoise bracelet. The bracelet is made up of yellow gold links with bezel set turquoise cabochons dangling from their surface, like a middle Eastern bell-adorned bellydancer's bracelet or anklet in design. There are nine links, each with twelve turquoise dangles, so the effect is quite eye-catching and full of movement when worn. The turquoise dangles give off a pleasant tinkling and jingling against the gold links as well. Looking at the piece from the back, the links are very well constructed with a sturdy hinged attachment, and the links themselves are quite sturdy and well made. The clasp is a tab insert style, with attached safety chain for additional security, and when the bracelet is fastened the clasp is near invisible, looking just like another link of the bracelet.
The bracelet is stamped and guaranteed 14k on the tab of the clasp. We have tested all parts with nitric acid and guarantee them to be 14 karat gold.
This piece is in great overall condition. The turquoise stones are all intact. One link, the one to which the tab of the clasp is attached, has a small crack visible on the back and side if you look very closely. Due to the domed and circular form in which it is constructed, it is still quite sturdy and unlikely to break with normal wear. No one would see this flaw in the gold while the bracelet is on the wrist, particularly with the dangles. The clasp and safety function well and close securely.
The bracelet will fit a wrist of about 6 inches in circumference or smaller.
The bracelet is about 5/8 of an inch wide at the widest point.
This piece weighs 41.6 grams. -jm
