Presented is a stunning 14 karat gold, sapphire and diamond ring. The ring is made in an attractive sort of stepped or waterfall design, with two prong set rows of graduated diamonds flanking a row of channel set square cut sapphires. The diamonds and sapphires are real, mined from the ground stones, verified by a certified gemologist. The diamonds range in size from about 1.5-2 points for the smaller end diamonds to about 6 points for the largest center diamonds, for a total diamond weight of about 48 points, or just about half a carat. The diamonds are vibrant, dazzling stones of SI clarity and H color. The sapphires are well matched in size and rich blue color, totaling about 35 points in weight.
The ring is in excellent overall condition. The diamonds and sapphires are well set and all intact. The sapphires have some minor surface abrasions here and there, but these are hard to notice without close inspection with a jeweler's loupe, they wouldn't be visible while the ring is on the hand.
The ring is stamped and guaranteed 14k, as well as a maker's mark.
The ring weighs 5.2 grams.
The ring is a size 6 1/2. The head of the ring measures about 10.5 millimeters north to south, while the band of the ring is about 2.3 millimeters at the narrowest point.
