Stunning 14k Gold Ruby Cabochon & ~1.5ct Diamond Necklace

Presented is a gorgeous 14 karat gold, ruby and diamond necklace. This is a
modern piece, made in Italy. The focal point of the necklace is an oval cabochon
ruby, surrounded by diamonds. The ruby is a real, mined-from-the-ground stone,
verified by our gemologist, with stunning rich red color. The necklace is set
with 77 total modern brilliant cut diamonds, of VS-2 through SI clarity and G-H
color, very vibrant and dazzling stones. There are 14 diamonds surrounding the
ruby, which are about 3 points each in size. Arranged in a sort of fan design
around the ruby in the center are 63 more diamonds, about 2 points each in size.
The total diamond weight for the necklace is at least 1.5 carats. The central
pendant portion is attached to a beautifully woven chain, with a strand of
textured gold interwoven throughout. The necklace is very well constructed, with
a hinge attaching the chain to the sides of the pendant that is very sturdy and
allows a good range of motion. The necklace closes with a tongue insert style
clasp with a safety latch on one side, for additional security.

The necklace is in great condition. The ruby and diamonds are securely set.
The clasp and safety both function well and close securely. There are no breaks
and no repairs

The tongue of the clasp is stamped 14k and Italy.

The necklace is about 17 5/8 inches long, not including the tongue of the
clasp, which does not contribute to the overall length when worn.

The necklace weighs 22 grams.
