Stunning 14k Gold Diamond & Black Enamel Victorian Style Pin / Brooch

Presented is a stunning 14 karat gold, diamond and black enamel pin or brooch. This is a modern American piece, though it is made in a much older style, emulating Victorian pieces. The pin is done in an oval form, with a raised quatrefoil design set with 22 diamonds. The center tier consists of four diamonds, each about 6 points in size. The next tier is 18 diamonds, about 5 points each in size. These are vibrant, dazzling stones of mostly SI clarity, with a couple in the I-1 range, and F-G color. The total diamond weight is at least 1 carat. Alternating with the diamonds is black enamel, contrasting beautifully with the sparkling diamonds and rich yellow gold. The pin has a rollover style safety  clasp.

The pin is in great condition. The diamonds are securely set, with no chips. The enamel is all intact. The clasp functions well and closes securely.

The pin has a worn 14 karat stamp on the back. We have tested this piece with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.

The pin measures about 1 inch by 7/8 of an inch.

The pin weighs 10.9 grams.
