Striking Pair 14k White Gold Sapphire Diamond Earrings

Presented is a fabulous quality pair of 14 karat white gold, sapphire and
diamond earrings of good weight. The earrings are American and were made during
the 1960s or 1970s. This set is for pierced ears, with posts and strong
clip-back mechanisms. The posts could be removed by your local jeweler
if you want to use the earrings on unpierced
ears. The sapphires are all well matched. The diamonds are modern brilliant cut
and sparkle beautifully in the light. The center diamond of each earring is
approximately 12 points and each of the 7 studded rays emanating from the sides
is set with three 1-2 point diamonds. The stones are G-H color and I-1 to SI clarity.
There is approximately 90 points or 9/10 of a carat in diamond weight alone.
Each earring has an inner circle of 6 sapphires at approximately 13 points each
and an outer circle of 12 sapphires at approximately 10 points each. There is
approximately 2 carats in sapphire weight in each earring, or 4 carats of
sapphires in total. 

Each earring measures 3/4 of an inch in diameter and the combined weight of
the pair is 13.4 grams.
