Offered in this sale is a boldly styled fine quality modern ring. The top of the ring is in the shape of a diamond, slightly curved in the center, set with 30 full round brilliant cut diamonds with a total weight of 1.3 to 1.5 carats.
The stones are of excellent clarity and color( VS to SI clarity and G-H color), and are perfectly matched; set in white gold, with large openings in the back of the setting for maximum brilliance.
The white gold pavé set diamond shape is mounted in boldly formed yellow gold surround with a crisply incised ribbed motif. The shank of the ring is of angular design with a flat section on the bottom to keep the ring from turning.
This ring was made in the 1970's or 1980's.
Marks: Stamped 14K and with a maker's mark the appears to be the conjoined letters SC.
Dimensions: Ring size 5.5, pavé surface 7/8" x ½". The weight is 12.9 grams.
