Presented is a lovely 14k gold and amethyst ring. The ring is a clean modern piece featuring a large oval amethyst prong set onto a split band of 14k gold. The ring has a very open and airy feel as it is without ostentatious decoration, letting the stone speak for itself. The stone is a pretty deep purple shade. The stone measures approximately 11 millimeters by 13.5 millimeters. We estimate the carat weight of the stone to be at least 7 carats.
The ring is hallmarked 14k on the inside of the band. The stone has an internal flaw, but it is easily overlooked. The ring is in good condition and there are no cracks, no breaks, no chips, no repairs, and no problems of any kind.
The ring is 1/2 inch long.
The ring is a size 5 3/4.
