Regular price
$4,800.00
Presented is a fabulous signed Steuben art glass piece, in the form of 18 karat gold and enamel lilies in a clear glass “bud”. This fantastic floral ornament is design number 1026 and is the work of renowned Steuben designer Donald Pollard. The overall form of the piece is an egg shape like a bulb or bud perhaps, cut away to reveal the lilies inside, finely detailed and cast in solid 18 karat yellow gold with translucent enamel, white with an iridescent glow complementing the engraved detailing of the petals beneath. This piece though vintage comes with its original fitted box in signature Steuben red. This Steuben design is a little harder to find today, and would make an excellent Easter gift.
This piece is in great condition. The glass has a couple of minor surface abrasions which are quite hard to notice without close, careful inspection. The underside has only minor shelf wear. There are no chips and no cracks. The enamel is all intact and in perfect shape. The box is in good shape, though there is a little wear to the exterior. This piece is fully marked with the Steuben signature on the underside as well as a hallmark guaranteeing 18k on the lily.
