Presented is a wonderful quality sterling silver salad serving set made by Whiting Manufacturing Company. The salad servers are done in the desirable old Louis XV pattern which was first produced in 1891. The salad set has not been monogrammed or engraved.
The servers are both marked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Whiting, Sterling, and Pat. 1891. The salad serving spoon is also marked A. Stowell & Co. for the retailer.
The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
The salad serving fork is 9 inches long, and the salad serving spoon is 9 1/8 inches long.
