Presented is a great set of 12 sterling Silver teaspoons and 1 serving or table
spoon made by the Whiting Manufacturing Company of Rhode Island. They are made
in the Armor pattern which was first made in 1871. The spoons are monogrammed
with the initials EDF in beautiful cursive script.
Each spoon is marked with the Whiting mark of the lion next to a W, Sterling Silver for the purity, Pat. 1871 and WM. MITCHELL for the retailer.
The spoons are in excellent condition. There is very light wear to the bowls of the spoons. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The teaspoons measure about 5 3/4 inches long. The serving spoon measures 8 1/4 inches long.
The spoons weigh 281.9 grams or 9.92 ounces.
