Presented is a wonderful set of six French Limoges porcelain bread and butter plates, by Raynaud et Cie/Ceralene. These plates are made in the Guirlandes pattern, emulating a Venetian porcelain design from the 18th century. The porcelain is white with floral garlands and green trim around the rim and a prominent spray of flowers and little herbaceous leaves in the center. The plates are signed on the back for A. Raynaud et Cie, Limoges (Ceralene) as well as the name of the pattern, Guirlandes—From a Venetian porcelain of the 18th Century in a private French collection.

This set is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.

Each plate measures about 6 1/2 inches in diameter. -jm
