Presented is an excellent set of 6 antique English china coffee cups or straight sided teacups, dating to around 1790-1820. The cups are white, with intricate gold gilt decoration around the sides. Really a very handsome set.
This set of cups is in great overall condition, particularly for their age. Two of the cups have minor hairlines to the bottom, which are not visible on the interior; please see the fourth photograph to get an idea. There is some minor wear to the gilding, notably around the rims. There are no chips, no other cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. All are usable.
The cups measure about 2 1/2 inches tall and about 2 5/8 inches in diameter. -jm
