Presented is a wonderful set of four French Limoges porcelain dinner plates, by Raynaud et Cie/Ceralene. These plates are made in the Guirlandes pattern, emulating a Venetian porcelain design from the 18th century. The porcelain is white with floral garlands and green trim around the rim and a prominent spray of flowers and little herbaceous leaves in the center. Please note that this listing is for a group of four plates, but we have additional groups for sale in this size as well as a lot of bread plates, which you can find by searching Guirlandes in our store or reaching out to us.
The plates are signed on the back for A. Raynaud et Cie, Limoges (Ceralene) as well as the name of the pattern, Guirlandes—From a Venetian porcelain of the 18th Century in a private French collection.
This set is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
Each plate measures about 10 5/8 inches in diameter. -jm
