Retro 14k Yellow and Rose Gold Ruby Ruffled Flower Brooch Pin

Presented is an attractive Retro 14K rose and yellow gold and ruby pin done in the form of a flower. The edge of the flower has a neat ruffled design with a gold ball at the center surrounded by 20 round rubies. The rubies are approximately 5 points each for a total of 1 carat. The ruffled outside edge of the pin is done in yellow gold, while the center sphere is done in rose gold. The color difference between the two shades of gold is not that dramatic. This pin was made in the 1940s or the early 1950s, and certainly produced in the United States. The pin is very well made and has good weight.

This piece is not marked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold.

The condition is excellent. The stones are well set. There are no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.

The pin measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

The weight is 17.4 grams.
