Reed Barton Sterling Silver 63pc Eighteenth 18th Century Flatware Set Serves 12

Presented is a superb Reed & Barton sterling silver 63 piece flatware set. This set is made in the classic Eighteenth Century pattern, which began production in 1971. This is a very popular and attractive pattern featuring a fluted fan-like design to the handles. This particular set provides service for 12 with 4 piece place settings, with extras of most pieces and four serving pieces. The knives have sterling handles and stainless blades in the Modern form.  

We are including with the set a brand new fitted storage chest, as seen in  the photos. The chest is wood in a rich dark walnut finish, with a velvet lined  interior. If you do not want this chest, please let us know and we will not ship it. 

This set includes:  

•15 Knives: 8 7/8 inches.

• 16 Forks: 7 1/2 inches. 

• 16 Salad/Dessert Forks: 6 3/8 inches. 

• 12 Teaspoons: 6 1/8 inches. 

• 1 Serving Fork: 8 1/2 inches. 

• 1 Carving Knife: 14 inches. 

• 1 Carving Fork: 11 1/4 inches. 

• 1 Bread/Cake Knife: 13 1/4 inches. 

Each non knife piece is stamped with the Reed & Barton maker's mark as well as sterling. The knives are marked Reed & Barton, Mirrorstele, and sterling handle on the blades. 

This set is in excellent condition. There are some dings to the ends of some of the knife handles, but these are only noticeable with close, careful inspection. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. 

The total weight for the set, not including the knives, is 2249 grams or 79.3 regular ounces.
