Presented is a handsome and quite rare sterling silver toast server from Towle, although this piece could certainly be used as an asparagus server. This piece is in the Paul Revere pattern, which was patented in 1906. The pattern displays a nice threaded edge and fluted top. The serving end has wide piercing with small scroll details. The front of the handle has been monogrammed AR in a flowing script.
The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Towle.
The piece is in great overall condition. The decorations are well-defined. There are no breaks, no bends, no splits, and no repairs.
