Presented is an interesting sterling silver long bacon serving fork by Stieff. This piece is in the Stieff Rose pattern, which was patented in 1892. The piece has a wide short serving end with the classic Steiff Rose high relief floral pattern. There is a monogram, M, on the reverse in a flowing script.
The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Stieff.
This piece is in great overall condition. The pattern details are crisp and well-defined. There are no breaks and no repairs.
