Presented is a wonderful set of 6 antique Gorham sterling silver coffee or 5 o'clock spoons. These spoons are made in the Lotus pattern, which began production in 1865. This is a fabulous Aesthetic Movement pattern drawing inspiration from the natural world, in this case the leaves and flowers of the lotus, very detailed and well done.
This set of spoons is in excellent condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each piece is stamped sterling as well as the maker's mark for Gorham and a retail mark for Bigelow Kennard & Co.
Each spoon measures about 5 inches long.
