Presented is a lovely set of 5 sterling silver pastry or dessert forks, by Mount Vernon. These forks are made in the elegant Sulgrave pattern, which began production in 1911. This is a stylish pattern with a paneled arch type of design to the tips of the handles. The forks have four tines, with an openwork design above them. Each fork has a monogram of DWB in flowing script.
This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each fork is stamped with the Mount Vernon maker's mark as well as sterling. Each fork is about 4 1/4 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 65 grams or 2.3 regular ounces. -jm
