Rare Set 11 Gorham Sterling Silver Hamilton Engraved Demitasse Coffee Spoons
Regular price
$281.00
Presented is a rare set of 11 Gorham sterling silver demitasse or coffee spoons in the Hamilton Engraved pattern. This pattern began production in 1909, and features a clean threaded design around the rounded handle, with a finely engraved bellflower wreath and ribbon design to the terminal for the Engraved variant. This wreath engraved variant of this classic Gorham pattern is not easy to find today, making this dainty set of spoons a very collectible and desirable item.
Each spoon is stamped with the Gorham maker's mark as well as sterling.
This set of spoons is in excellent overall condition. Some minor wear to the gold wash of the bowls, but nothing significant in our opinion. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon measures about 4 1/4 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 103 grams or 3.6 regular ounces. -jm
