Presented is a fabulous set of 10 Durgin sterling silver citrus spoons. These spoons are made in the elegant New Vintage pattern, which began production in 1904. This is a lovely pattern featuring a cluster of grapes with grape leaves on the handles, surrounded by classical shell and scrollwork decoration. The grape motif is continued with a grape leaf decoration on the back above the bowl.
Each spoon has a monogram of D on the handle. The bowls of the spoons are long and pointed, suited for eating grapefruit or other citrus fruits.
This set is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon is stamped with the Durgin maker's mark as well as sterling.
Each spoon is about 5 7/8 inches long.
