Presented is an elegant 14K gold pin topped with a large cluster of pearls. The pin is topped with 35 pearls ranging in size from 5 millimeters at the smallest to 7 millimeters at the largest. The pearls are set at different heights for an attractive layered look. They are all half-drilled, set up on posts and glued for a very secure mounting. The pearls are well-matched and have great nacre. The pin is fairly modern.
The pin is marked on the reverse with 14K and a maker’s mark. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold.
The condition is excellent. There are no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The pin measures 1 1/4 inches by 1 7/8 inches.
The weight is 16.5 grams.
