Presented is a very fine platinum ring setting for a square or rectangular cut stone with two triangular cut side stones. This would make an excellent setting for an engagement ring with a princess cut diamond paired with two side sapphires(or colored stones) or diamonds. The center prongs can fit a diamond with a diameter of about 6.4 x 5 millimeters. The side prongs can accommodate triangles with sides measuring approximately 4.5 millimeters long.
The ring setting is marked on the inside of the band with PT900 for 900 purity platinum and AEB for the maker. We have tested the setting with nitric acid and guarantee it to be platinum.
The condition is excellent. There are no splits, no cracks, no breaks and no repairs.
The ring is a size 6 3/4. It can be sized up or down.
The ring weighs 4.7 grams.
