Presented is a pair antique Qing Dynasty (early 1900's) Chinese bronze two-handled vases. These pieces feature a scene of a high relief bird sitting in a budding or flowering tree, with the same scene repeating on two sides. The handles are elephant masks and the pedestal is decorated with a symmetrical vertical pattern.
One of the vases is signed by the maker in Chinese characters.
Condition: The unsigned vase has some tarnish on one side and both vases have a few small chips or nicks in the lacquer, but the pair displays very well, with no damages or repairs.
