Pair German Silver Hand Chased Viva Les Fenians 1890-1910 Pedestal Cups Goblets

Presented is an antique pair of German silver pedestal cups or goblets made during the late 1800s or early 1900s. These cups are done in the style of pieces from the mid 1500's to the early 1600's. Each cup is raised on a ruffled, pedestal base and they are finely hand chased with fruits, flowers and leaves over a textured background. The underside of one cup is engraved 1890 - 1910 and the other is engraved Viva Les Fenians.
The underside bears the German crown and crescent mark, 800 for the silver purity and it has a maker's mark SR with a crown above for Simon Rosenau.
This set is in great overall condition for its age. The chased decorations are crisp. One of the rims has an old, solder repair.
