Presented is an antique pair of salt cellars or small dishes/bowls made by Jones, Shreve & Brown of Boston between 1857 and 1860. This mid 19th century pair are decorated with bands of beaded and Greek key designs. The bowls are raised on pedestal bases and each one has a monogram of the initials EWA.
The underside of each bowl is marked for Jones, Shreve & Brown and Boston. Both pieces are guaranteed to be 900 coin purity silver.
This pair is in great condition overall. One cup has two slight dents to the body.
