Presented is an excellent pair of American coin silver sauce or gravy ladles. These pieces date to around the 1820s-1830s. The ladles are done in a simple yet elegant fiddle design, with shoulders above the bowl. The handles are engraved with the name 'Frothingham' in flowing script.
These ladles are tested and guaranteed coin/900 purity silver.
The ladles are in great overall condition. There is only the most minor of surface wear, nothing significant or excessive. There are no dents, no splits, no bends, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each ladle is about 7 inches long.
