Presented is a fine old sterling silver salad set made by Amston. The set is done in the Tyrolean pattern which was first produced in 1893. The set has never been monogrammed or engraved. These could, of course, be used individually as large serving pieces or together as a salad set.
The set is stamped on the reverse with Sterling and a maker’s mark for Amston.
The salad set is in great condition overall. It has surface wear commensurate with age and use, as well as some little dings here and there. There are no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
The salad serving spoon is 9 1/4 inches long.
The salad serving fork is 9 1/2 inches long.
The weight is 215.4 grams or 7.5 ounces.
