Presented is a nice quality 14K white gold, diamond and pearl wreath pin. The pin is topped with 9 pearls and 27 modern round brilliant cut diamonds. The diamonds are approximately 2 points in size each. There is at least 35 points of diamonds in this pin, but probably closer to 50 points or around ½ carat. The pin was probably made in the 1930s through the 1950s.
The pin is marked on the reverse with 585 for 14K gold and a star mark. It appears to be the five pointed star with the hammer and sickle inside it used in Russia after the revolution. Only part of the mark is visible so we cannot guarantee it, but the piece is probably Russian. We have tested the pin with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold.
The condition is excellent. The diamonds and pearls are well set. The pearls are well matched and have nice nacre. There are no chips, no cracks, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The pin measures 1 1/8 inches in diameter.
