Presented is an excellent set of 5 sterling silver round bowl gumbo soup spoons by International. These spoons are made in the elegant Cloeta pattern, which was patented in 1904. True to the Art Nouveau style of the time period, this pattern features sinuous, flowing grape vine decoration, complete with bold clusters of grapes and richly textured and detailed grape leaves. These spoons have a B monogram, done in textured Gothic lettering.
These spoons are marked on the stem with sterling as well as the maker's mark for International.
This set is in excellent condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. No splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon is about 6 7/8 inches long.
