Presented is a fine set of 12 sterling silver tea spoons by Whiting. These spoons are done in the beautiful and popular Lily of the Valley pattern, which began production in 1885. As the name suggests, this is a floral pattern featuring lovely designs of lily of the valley blossoms on tall stems. Two of the spoons have decorative engravings to their bowls. One spoon has the White House, while the other reads "Cedar Point '05". This dates the set to at least 1905, possibly older.

This set of spoons is in great overall condition. The details of the pattern are quite crisp. There has been a monogram removal to the back of the terminal on each of the spoons. As the photo points out, some of the tips of the handles have some issues. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, and no repairs.

The spoons are hallmarked with the maker's mark for Whiting and 'STERLING'.

Each spoon is approximately 6 inches long.

The total weight for the set is 256 grams or 8.9 regular ounces.
