Presented is a nice antique hand painted portrait pin with a gilded, chain-link frame.

This pin was made circa the turn of the 20th century.  It is signed "Eif & Co".

The porcelain is from Germany or Austria.

The chain-link frame is gilded.  It is decorated with faceted glass paste stones.

This piece features a charming portrait of a kind-looking young man.

The piece is neatly hand-painted, and it shows!

The piece is in good condition. The clasp is working well.  There is just a little bit of gilding missing from the setting, but it is a really great old portrait pin overall!
