Presented is a wonderful antique Chinese brass bowl, dating to the late 1800s or very early 1900s. The bowl is nicely hand engraved with Chinese dragons around the exterior, in a stylized yet detailed way. The interior is engraved with eight Chinese characters around the side, with foliate decoration and another character in the center.
The bowl is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, and no repairs.
The bowl measures about 10 inches in diameter and stands about 3 1/2 inches tall at the rim. -jm
