Presented is a fine Spanish colonial silver cup, from the 1750s-1830s. The cup is done in a handsome traditional form with two double-scroll handles and a short flared foot. This piece was made by hand, with the marks of hand hammering visible in the finish. There is a monogram of LEE engraved on the underside of the foot.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The cup is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be approximately 900 purity silver.
The cup stands about 2 3/4 inches tall.
The cup weighs 106 grams or 3.7 regular ounces.
