Native American Indian Sterling Silver Turquoise Coral MOP Zuni Sun Face Ring

Presented is a fantastic Native American Indian sterling silver and gemstone
inlay ring. This is a lovely vintage piece, likely of Zuni make. The head of the
ring features a bold 'sun face,' a traditional Zuni depiction of the sun as a
stylized, religious symbol. The face itself is made up of turquoise, coral, and
mother of pearl inlay, with jet or onyx for the face's eyes and mouth.
Surrounding the face are sun rays or head-dress feathers, inlaid with mother of
pearl and abalone. A very fine and intricately made example of a classic design.
