Presented is a fantastic Kirk sterling silver bon bon bowl or bottle coaster, dating to around the 1920s-1930s. The bowl is beautifully hand chased around the rim with a very intricate floral repousse border, featuring various flowers and leaves against a stippled texture background, all exceptionally crisp and detailed.
This piece is in excellent condition. The details of the decoration are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside is stamped with the maker's mark S. Kirk & Son, sterling, and a product number 407A.
The dish measures about 5 1/2 inches in diameter and about 1 inch high at the rim.
