Luscious Vintage 1920s/30s Twisted Emerald/Ruby/Pearl Necklace Likely from India

Presented is a gorgeous vintage necklace made with strands of genuine emeralds, rubies, and pearls, most likely made in India.

It dates from circa the 1920s to the 1930s.

This piece features a richly woven twisted strand of pebble-like genuine green emeralds, red rubies, and real pearls.  The rubies especially are a great color though heavily included.

The way the stones are woven is highly indicative of Indian origin.

These gems are strung together with string and also have a braided green, gold, and white strand which rests against the back of the neck.  There is a section of gold-colored round beads adorning each side of the necklace.

The necklace does not have a clasp, but is knotted in the back and is worn by slipping over your head.

There are no problems with this piece.  It is in very nice condition.
