Presented is a wonderful vintage Toledo damascene bracelet, dating to around the 1950s-1960s. The bracelet consists of oblong panels of mixed metal inlay in a very Moorish inspired design, silver, copper, and gold against a darker metal, all very intricately done. In between the panels are half domes of oxidized black copper. The bracelet has a tab style clasp with an attached safety chain for additional security.
The bracelet is not stamped or signed that we can find. This bracelet is in great overall condition. There is some wear to the black oxidation of the dome shaped beads in between the mixed metal inlay panels, as you can see in the photos, but personally I think the distressed look is interesting. The mixed metal work is in good shape, I can't find any losses. The clasp snaps shut securely. The bracelet will fit a wrist of about 7 1/2 inches in circumference, and is about 5/8 of an inch wide.-jm
