Presented is a lovely single strand pearl necklace. This necklace probably dates to around the 1950s, but with such a classic design it's hard to say for sure. These are pearls are about 6.5 to 6.8 millimeters in diameter. The pearls are Akoya saltwater pearls, silvery cream with rose overtones. The pearls are individually hand-knotted, for additional security. There is no clasp to this necklace, it is a continuous strand, meant to be slipped on over the head.
This strand of pearls is in great condition. The nacre of the pearls is in good shape overall, with only minor surface blemishes here and there. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The strand is about 33 inches long.
