Presented is a marvelous, 14 karat yellow gold and pearl bar pin made during the mid to late 19th century. This was made between 1850 and the 1870s. This Victorian piece is done in a classical Etruscan Revival style, with granulated gold wire decorations. The textured gold ropes are wrapped all around the pin and the center is set with a natural pearl. The pin has its original C style clasp. There may have originally been pearls mounted on either end.
This piece has been tested with nitric acid and is guaranteed to be 14 karat gold purity. This piece is in fabulous overall condition for its age. There are no damages and no repairs.
