Lovely Victorian 14k Gold Hardstone Cameo Pin / Brooch / Pendant

Presented is a lovely Victorian carved hardstone cameo in a 14 karat gold setting. This piece dates to the 1860s-1880s and is of American make. The cameo has an old c capped clasp as well as a hook in the back, so it can be worn as a pin or pendant. The cameo is beautifully hand carved from black and white hardstone,

The pin is in great condition. The details of the carving are nice and crisp. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.
