Lovely Victorian 14k Gold Carved Cameo Brooch Pin of a Classical Woman

Presented is a beautiful carved cameo brooch in 14 karat gold. This is a Victorian piece, dating to around the 1860s-1880s. The cameo depicts a classical Greco-Roman woman in profile, with her hair encircled with a floral wreath. The carving is very detailed and well done. The cameo is set in a 14 karat gold frame, with a rollover style safety clasp in back.

This piece is in great condition. The details of the carving are nice and crisp. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no splits, no breaks, no chips,no cracks, and no repairs.

This piece is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.
