Lovely Signed Mikimoto 14k Yellow Gold Pearl Pin / Brooch

Presented is a beautiful 14 karat gold and pearl pin or brooch. This is a signed Mikimoto piece. The pearls are lovely Akoya pearls with excellent lustre and a great orient. The pearls are an attractive rose with silver overtones, very appealing in combination with the rich yellow gold. The pin is very well made from the highest quality materials, with an eye for craftsmanship and construction. The pin has a rollover style safety clasp.

The pin is in great condition. The pearls are clean, with smooth nacre, well set and in good shape. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.

The pin is stamped k14 and with the Mikimoto maker's mark on the back of the 'stem' portion.

The pin is about 2 3/8 inches long.

The pin weighs 15.2 grams.
