Lovely Set 4 Limoges French Raynaud Floral Flower Bread Butter Plates 6.5"
Regular price
$127.00
Presented is a fantastic set of 4 Limoges porcelain bread and butter plates, dating to the second half of the 20th century. These plates are made in a beautiful floral pattern, with a bouquet of colorful flowers to one side of the center well and little sprigs of various flowers around the rim. The plates have a richly gold gilt edge and a basket weave type of texture to the porcelain around the rim. The look is similar to Meissen's Scattered Flowers pattern, though not exact with the largest floral spray being off-center. If someone out there knows the name of this pattern, please feel free to let us know. Please be aware, we have other sizes of plates in this same pattern, if you are interested in purchasing more.
This set of plates is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. We are including with this set a fifth plate, which has five small rim chips, since this plate came to us with the set. It is a free bonus and does not reflect on the value of the set of four.
These plates are signed on the underside for Raynaud & Co, Limoges, France, and a stamp of Marin Paris.
Each plate measures about 6 1/2 inches in diameter. -jm
