Lovely Pair Meissen Hand Painted Floral Flowers Gilt Rim Trumpet Vases

Presented is a fabulous pair of vintage Meissen porcelain trumpet vases. These vases date to around the 1920s-1950s, but are made in a timeless floral design, highly reminiscent of Meissen's popular Scattered Flowers or Streublumen pattern. The front of each vase features a wonderfully hand painted bouquet of flowers, very colorful and with different types of flower between the two. The backs of the vases have small scattered sprays of flowers in various colors, likewise hand painted. The mouth and foot have a rich gold gilt rim.
This pair of vases is in excellent condition overall. One vase has a couple of tiny flakes to the bottom rim, one of which is on the underside so it can't be seen at all when the vase is on a surface. There are no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
Both vases are marked on the underside with the Meissen crossed swords mark in underglaze blue, with no cancels.
Each vase stands about 9 ¾ inches tall and measures about 4 7/8 inches in diameter. -jm
