Presented is a wonderful old antique Japanese porcelain charger or large round serving plate. This piece dates to around the mid 1800s. The charger is beautifully decorated in the typical colors of the Imari palette, rust red, cobalt blue, and light green. The dish features six panels alternating with red and blue background, each featuring a scene of a stylized tree, with flowers and leaves in the center.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
