Presented is a lovely 18 karat gold and enamel pin or brooch in the shape of a rose. This piece dates to around the 1950s-1970s, but we aren't certain where it was made. The rose has two flowers, with finely hand carved petals in a delicate shade of pink. The stem and leaves of the rose are done in 18 karat gold, and the leaves are decorated with vibrant green enamel. The pin has a rollover style safety clasp which is quite secure.
This piece is in great overall condition. There are a couple of very minor chips to the tip of two of the rose's petals, but these are hard to notice particularly when the pin is being worn. Please let the photos guide your judgement. The pin is stamped KT18 for 18 karat gold, nitric acid tested and guaranteed.The pin is about 2 ¼ inches long.
