Presented is a lovely sterling silver Stilton cheese scoop/cheese server from Dominick and Haff. This piece is in the Rococo pattern, which was patented in 1888 and displays high relief scrolls and flowers throughout the handle. This piece has been monogrammed on the back, MFE, in flowing script. The scoop end has a soft matte finish and light gold wash.
The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Dominick and Haff and the patent.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There has likely been some wear to the gilding, but it is fairly uniform. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no breaks and no repairs.
