Presented is a lovely coin silver teaspoon from the early 19th century. This piece has a pointed end and is decorated with delicate engravings. The end of the handle is monogrammed, CJ, in a flowing script.
The reverse is marked JB, which likely represents James or John Black who worked in Philadelphia during the late 1700s-early 1800s.
The teaspoon is in great overall condition, especially considering the age. There are no breaks and no repairs.
Length: 5 1/8 inches
Weight: 9.5 grams or 0.3 ounces
